To calculate the area of a Rhombus, you just need to drop two numbers into the following formula:

A = (w x h) ÷ 2

Where:

A = Area

w = the width

h = the height

## Example

You’ve been asked to calculate the area of a Rhombus, you measure the width and find it is **8m** and the height is **6****m**.

Find the area using the formula

**A =** **(b x h) ÷ 2**

**A =** **(8m x 6m) ÷ 2**

**A =** **(48m ^{2}) ÷ 2**

**A = 24m ^{2}**

The answer is 24m^{2}. Twenty four meters squared
