Area of a Rhombus

How to calculate the area of a Rhombus

0

To calculate the area of a Rhombus, you just need to drop two numbers into the following formula:

A = (w x h) ÷ 2

Where:

A = Area

w = the width

h = the height

Example

You’ve been asked to calculate the area of a Rhombus, you measure the width and find it is 8m and the height is 6m. Find the area using the formula A =(b x h) ÷ 2A =(8m x 6m) ÷ 2A =(48m2) ÷ 2A = 24m2 The answer is 24m2. Twenty four meters squared
