Area of a Parallelogram, how to calculate

How to calculate the area of a Parallelogram.

It’s very simple to calculate the area of a Parallelogram, you just need to use the following formula.

A = b x h

Where

A = The Area

b = The length of the base

h = The height

Lets try an example

Example

You’ve been asked to calculate the area of a Parallelogram, you measure the base and find it to be 10 meters and the height to be 5 meters. Find the area using the formula A = b x h A = 10m x 5m A = 50m2 The answer is 50m2. Fifty meters squared
