The area = π x Radius 2

Example: π = 3.14

Radius = 10 cm

Area = 3.14 x102

ANSWER : 314 cm2

The area can also be calculated using the formula:

The area = (π x Diameter2) ÷ 4

Example: π = 3.14

Diameter = 20 cm

Area = (3.14 x202) ÷ 4
