Kilowatts to Brake Horsepower
Convert from Brake Horsepower to Kilowatts using the calculator below
Brake Horsepower | BHP | |
Kilowatts | kW |
Examples
Converting from kW to BHP
A 10kW pump would covert to 13.41BHP
Calculation = 10 kW ÷ 0.745699872 = 13.41 BHP
Converting from BHP to kW
A 10 BHP pump would convert to 7.46kW
Calculation: 10 BHP x 0.745699872 = 7.46 kW
I will like to joint the engineering mindset to learn more.
I found all the notes and explanations you have given very interesting. More especially on inverters
Please sir
I wish to know the deference between KVA and KW . And how to do the calculation
KVA is electrical input power taken by the motor and kw is output power available at the rotor shaft.
